During the four weeks you will notice that the swimmers will be broken into 3 groups, beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Each group will learn the same thing.
You will expect to see kicking with kick boards, streamlining, side breathing intro, and much much more.
The ultimate goal of this program is to get all swimmers ready to swim on our swim team.

SWIM SEASON / PRACTICE SCHEDULES
Practices begin April 8th, and are held in the late afternoon/early evening. During the school year, practices run Mon - Thurs. Once school is out for the summer, practices run Mon-Fri in the morning. Please see our Calendar page for this season's specific swim practice times. Practices end in early August. Practice times by age group will be listed under our Calendar tab when coach finalizes the schedule.
SWIMMER PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
We require all swimmers to participate in Time Trials, held in May, to establish their baseline swim times. All swimmers are required to participate in an Invitational at Dana Hills Pentathlon and a 3-day City Meet hosted by Springwood at Cowell Pool at the end of the season. All swimmers are also required to help at our annual invitational 8 & under Bishop Bash, we host this to other teams and need all of our swimmers to help make it run and be great.
Swim meets are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, and usually run 3-4 hours. City Meet is a 3-day event held on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the end of the season, and all swimmers are required to participate in the event. Our team attends one Invitational meet scheduled separately, and participation is not optional it is mandatory and fee is included in registration fee.
Please see our Calendar page for this season's swim meet and event dates.
