The Bishop Estates Swim Team seeks to provide an opportunity for all swimmers to reach their highest personal potential as both a person and an athlete. We understand that winning is much more than one’s place in the finish of a race, and we are committed to helping children grow in character, physical development, and skill.
Our focus is a blend of stroke skills and the physical strength needed to become confident, healthy, and successful swimmers.
Bishop Estates Swim Team believes that swimming should be a challenging, positive, and rewarding experience for all its athletes and their families. Swimmers will learn about personal responsibility and sportsmanship.
Our coaches will work closely with each and every swimmer to help achieve appropriate personal goals and suggestions on how to achieve them.
Bishop Estates Swim Team is dedicated to making your swimming experience the most productive, fun, and interesting experience and we look forward to being part of your family’s lives!
What can a swimmer expect from BEST
Our swimmers can expect an opportunity to learn how hard work, discipline and dedication will affect their lives; both in the pool and out of the water. They will be challenged and encouraged by their coaches to give their best effort, in practice and in competition. Most importantly, our swimmers can expect to have fun. They will meet new friends, become proud of their achievements, and learn important skills that will help them flourish - in the pool and in life.
What does BEST expect from its swimmers?
The Bishop Estates Swim Team expects two things from our swimmers: participation and respect. We expect our swimmers to attend practice and to represent their team at swim meets. We also expect our swimmers to treat their coaches, fellow teammates and other team's swimmers with the utmost respect.
As we enter the 2019 swim season, the Bishop Estates Swim Team asks for your support to achieve our mission of providing swimmers an opportunity to reach their greatest potential. The Bishop Estates Swim Team believes that swimming should be a challenging, positive, and rewarding experience for both the swimmers and their families. We also believe that participation on our team should not be cost prohibitive for swimmers. To provide quality programs for our swimmers, and keep our team fees affordable, we must rely on our community’s financial support to help offset significant pool, equipment, and team operating costs. We pride ourselves on financial efficiency and take it very seriously, but the minimum expenses associated with recruiting high-quality coaching staff, providing swimmer time and meet awards, and stocking supplies quickly adds up to near or more than our annual swimmer dues. This leaves us very little opportunity to grow our team and does not provide us with enough resources to fund important programs including team outings, community events, and swim scholarships / need-based fee reductions.
These are important programs for us and we need your help. There are several ways that you can help:
- You can make a general donation to the team.
- You can donate to a specific fund (equipment, supplies, scholarship, etc.)
- You can become a team sponsor. (please contact for more information)
